Version 3.5.0 adds a session analysis view in the admin console, makes the bot more reliable with automatic retries, and fixes performance and data issues with large contact lists and knowledge bases.

Version 3.5.0 brings the automated conversation analysis introduced in 3.4.0 into the admin console. Coordinators can browse and filter analyzed sessions to see each conversation's summary, the support given, referrals, topics, sentiment and whether the conversation succeeded. They can also start the analysis for sessions that are still missing it. The bot is also more resilient. If generating a response fails, Annie retries automatically and, as a last resort, sends the student a fallback message instead of staying silent. Annie now also responds appropriately to instant feedback: it thanks students for positive feedback and asks what would help more when the feedback is negative.
Session analysis view AD-1023
A new admin view for browsing and filtering analyzed sessions by time range, module, survey and support topic. It shows summaries, support provided, referrals, localized topics, sentiment and conversation success.
On-demand session analysis AD-1024
Coordinators can trigger the analysis from the admin console for a survey or a single session, for example when a session is missing its analysis.
Support request data for session analysis AD-1035
The API can now return all support needs, including those in archived surveys, and filter them by contact. The session view uses this to show whether a support request was created.
Automatic retry with fallback message AD-1031
Failed AI responses are retried automatically. If they still fail, the student gets a fallback message instead of no reply, and incomplete analysis results are not saved.
Responses to instant feedback AD-1027
Annie thanks students for positive feedback. For negative feedback, it asks what kind of support would work better, which can lead the student to the right help.
Faster contact management with large datasets AD-1025
The contacts table and its filters were rebuilt to handle tens of thousands of contacts without blocking the survey editor.
Default language placeholder is now replaced in bot instructions AD-1026
The bot instructions now use the survey language, falling back to the instance language.
Knowledge bases no longer disappear from the admin console when creation is slow AD-1028
Knowledge base details are now saved even when creating the knowledge base takes a long time.
Contact upload now matches support providers regardless of capitalization AD-1033
Usernames in uploaded contact files are normalized, and the validation step shows the normalized username.
Fixed extra surveys being created by the default bot AD-1034
Improved database connection stability AD-1036
